Yoga Clothes and BehaviorClothesClothes should be simple and comfortable. In a hot country like ours, loose clothes are more suitable than tight ones. Tight clothes obstruct the free movement of limbs; they also obstruct free movement of blood in the body. It is good to wear thick clothes of khaddar during summer to save oneself from hot waves. In the rainy season, the lesser the clothes on the body, the better, otherwise thin, line clothes are ideal to help the body keep cool. Warm clothes are necessary in winter so that the body does not lose its heat. The polyester clothes are harmful for the body. Specially the clothes which are worn next to the skin like the vest. If you wear polyester shirt, the vest under it should be of cotton. SleepSound sleep is the sign of good health. Sleep helps repair the body organs and overcome wear and tear of the body. It also helps to remove the impurities of the body so that when we get up next morning, we again become fresh and ready for work. Waking and working late at night or spending the better part of the night in cinemas or clubs is harmful for health. Good BehaviorYoga has no meaning, if there is no perceptible change in the social behavior of the Sadhaka. A yoga practitioner always thinks well of others. He is not greedy or selfish. He leads a balanced life without causing, even without desiring to cause, harm to anybody. He is sweet to others. He is a Sadhaka and leaves no chance in his life of serving others. All this brings him nearer his goal-union with Almighty, i.e., yoga. |
